Meow Melody - 11/14/2022

This painting was done on found wood. I challenged myself to complete this piece within a short timeframe, only allowing myself four hours to paint.

The wood was pre-finished with a varnish of some sort. I went over this with acrylic paint. Afterwards, the surface was very slippery to paint on and repelled moisture. This created a slight challenge, however it made for interesting textures.

These objects were given to me by family. The reference photo was taken in my studio. Yes, I had to blow bubbles into the frame.
